ReVCon Bahrain took place at the Jufair Sports Arena from August 13 to 15 and it was a grand event. We had 52 InService deployed during the 3-day event, including the Crew Chief, the Assistant Crew Chief and the Executive Officer. With such a huge event with over 1000 people, Security was the top priority and received the most number of InService members (16).

After receiving the final list of InService, I chose the Assistant Crew Chief and the heads of the different departments. On August 9, Direct arrived and started to check the different elements of the event such as the stage, the banners, carpets, audio video and food and beverage. We also went on an ocular inspection of the Arena. On August 11th, the first InService comrades reported into the venue and we announced their respective delegated tasks.  At 7:00 am on August 12 all the InService were already at the arena.

August 13 was Registration Day, which was a top priority together with the translation equipments. We hit a bump on the road with the translation equipments during the first night of the ReVCon and the crowd started complaining. Thankfully, we were able to sort it out and we did not have any more problems with it after that.

It was a smooth event with no major challenges for the InService Team. All the departments worked performed their tasks wonderfully.

It was a great pleasure and new learning experience to be Crew Chief at The ReVCon Bahrain. I would like to thank the V for giving me this opportunity especially our Chief Pathman Senathirajah. In addition, I would like to thank Direct Mr. Manolette Gonzalez for his ultimate guidance and No.2 VC Manoj Kumar for his support.
