When was the
last time that you made someone smile because of your kindness? What
about the last time you were surprised by the act of kindness from
Many of us will
agree that we are living in a world where many times other individuals
are not being very kind to us. In return, we spend most of our time
being angry, vindictive, spiteful and generally just not being as kind
as we should be. How other people treat us is no excuse for us not to
treat the rest of the people well. Let kindness begin from you. Be
conscious of your thoughts and reactions towards others. Choose kindness
over judgment at all times.
Random acts of
kindness are a wonderful way to touch the life of another human being.
The things we say to another whether to his/her face or behind his/her
back, our small gestures, or one simple display of affection by way of a
genuine smile or a pat on the back can mean more than you could ever
imagine. From sharing a warm smile to a stranger, saying good morning to
a neighbor, to helping a family member in need, the number of ways to
pass along kindness is endless. Many may underestimate these little
things in life, but also bear in mind that these small acts of kindness
extremely valuable and oftentimes MOST cherished.
I challenge you to do at least one act of kindness today and follow through!
